Tender Mercy

In errant form
I rely
On fate’s forlorn
Of days gone by

To keep my heart
Golden, true
From torn apart
By violent views

Tender Mercy
I implore
Unsigned treaties
And Fates close door

Hate hardens hearts
At what cost
Worlds torn apart
Innocence lost

In errant form
I relied
On fate’s forlorn
A love that died.
