sun fall
warm grass
fog crawl
in at last

silent creeping
silent billowing
no sleeping
fog is pillowing

quiet murmur
people walking
silence getting louder
in warmth people talking

someone's shooting
a school is crying
a wild dove's cooing
a man lays dying

a dream
out of the blue
it seems
has come true

a nightmare,
to believe, no one dared
yet all cared
a young life was spared

silent billowing
a school is crying
the fog is pillowing
a man lays dying

fog crawl
no sun's glare
clouds fall
